How can this game not have built in voice chat?

Wellll... Let's see this is a thread about an MMO so I don't care about other genres (and the cesspool those Chat channels are...)

second most of the 3rd party voice chat programs also have mobile phone apps (heck I play on PC and I typically route voice chat through my phone/netbook to keep the demands on my PC down), otherwise the same people who refuse to use voice chat would still refuse to use a built in one. and the PS3 and PS4 can have a keyboard hooked up or there are periphireal addon chat pads for the controller (I have one for Xbox 360. I bought it specifically for......Final Fantasy XI) and some people don't have mics, so I guess they better run out and buy them because we need voice chat...can't play without it right?

So if your Guild/Linkshell/Free Company requires Voice chat for end-game (which you don't really need ) you have a few options, and that is really more of a "problem" with those sepcific groups, you could always find/make one that doesn't reguire it. and in the end even with a built in system your "problem" remains "unsolved" (because with a built in voice chat there is still the language barrier or how decent the actual signal transfer is)
