ffxiv Launcher not loading anything, black window

I am having the same issue and error. I tried running on my laptop to see if it was just an issue with my desktop but it's the same when I try to launch FFXIV on my laptop.

I noticed that the lodestone site takes a while to load sometimes or doesn't even load certain pages. Perhaps it's a web issue?

Same thing sometimes it comes up but does nothing when clicking the login button oh how I hate these triple lobby connections one to log in one to get to your character and one to get in the game ...... I miss playonline already.
