There are 8-players duties that will require 1 tank only (one example, The Praetorium), it will be great the DF will acknowledge that and setup parties accordly.

No, because that would make it harder for the 2nd tank to complete their roulettes.
7 people, 2 of which are healers, who are also rare to find. When every tank has to wait for 2 healers, the healers will likely end up having the faster queue.
Additionally, Tanks do not have instant queue. They have the "fastest" queues on average, but they are not always instant.
That's right, nooby tank here... I'll say the perfect example of dungeon where a tank can wait 2 hours or more ... Let's see... Oh, yes, CAPE WESTWIND!... (Personal experience).
Had to party with a healer for reduce it to 20 min...
(I guess that trial is bad done, probably doesn't appear in roulettes anymore, so noone doing it?)
Cape Westwind is in the Trials roulette I believe. That's right, nooby tank here... I'll say the perfect example of dungeon where a tank can wait 2 hours or more ... Let's see... Oh, yes, CAPE WESTWIND!... (Personal experience).

I agree that the majority of parties do just fine with 1 tank but that's because with everyone i90+ you can just burn everything and heal through any extra damage. The problem is that you have to consider that you could potentially end up with a full party of people in AF gear in which case you are going to need a second tank just to pick up adds. I realize it is an extremely unlikely scenario but it is possible. That being said it would be great if there was an option for more customization in duty finder such as solo tank. They could add an ilvl restriction or something to ensure that you are not setting people up for failure. Duty roulette on the other hand probably has to stay the way it is because its there to provide newer players with assistance on dungeons that end gamers would otherwise never run.
The only way this works is if there's done kind of toggle since an ilvl 50 or lower tank is going to have a hard time solo tanking depending on the rest of the party makeup. A toggle/checkbox for single tank doesn't work in and of itself due to the fact it would segregate the duty finder pool into those who did and did not check that box, resulting in longer queue times all around. PF is for customization.
Teehe... "I believe"... There you said it... Is like some dungeons in low level roulette that for some reason we never, never, end playing, at least in the roulette...Probably Cape Westwind is the version of that in trials.
Oh, btw, I also agree that in Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium there's not really need of other tank... Whenever I play it and they ask me...
"MT or OT?"
I say: "AT"
"AT?"
Me: "All Tank"
