Unable to play in Coerthas??

Hi,

I am on Hyperion. I can log in with my alts. But main is in Coerthas and I get told ffxiv has stopped working each time I try and log on. Anybody else having this problem?

Either it's a server side issue or a file for Coerthas has somehow corrupted (or something) in your client. Can you get into Coerthas on one of your alts?

If all else fails, reinstall the game.

All my alts are very low level. Not even close to there.

Try to run through the North Shroud really fast to get there. I ran to Mor Dhona at level 1 once.

Behamoth is probably on a rapage ripping the zone apart

As someone said run/chocobo there on an alt to see if its your install or a server problem

I feel ya dude. Corethas for whatever reason is the only zone in the game that causes unknown errors forcing the game to close. Even porting from Corethas, the game will crash. It's like the Bermuda Triangle of the game lol. And that is the only zone i have issues with. But I would wait, sometimes it takes a minute for the character to actually log out.

Are you sure it's not caused by weather effects/a fault with your video card/graphics drivers? Coerthas often has blizzards and snowstorms so it's possible your video card might have an issue trying to display such effects (hence the crash). Try upgrading your video card driver as a first step, and then play around with the graphics sliders (I hate to say it, but turning things down/off might help). If you still find the game crashes, a reinstall of the game itself (or replacing your video card) might be necessary sadly.

Turned of computer and restarted everything is fine now. Who knows.
