Maybe because, teleporting to the same places as another person, and doing emotes to them, is not violating the rules?
Just because someone feels harassed, doesnt mean its harassment at all.
Wouldn't have this problem if you were doing more endgame. Can't harass someone in duty.
I.... You... Do you realise how stupid that sounds? "just because someone feels harassed" that part right there. THAT is the problem with this. This person is doing this to her, and it's making her feel harassed. Whether what he's specifically doing violates the rules or not. Its affects op's game play. I start sending you /tell, I'm not breaking the rules by talking to you. But if what I'm talking about is a harassing nature.... You get the picture?
If not, These next inserts I'm quoting for you are from the wiki about harassment.
"Harassment is an action that is meant to or happens to cause discomfort for the victim. "
"Harassment covers a wide range of behaviours of an offensive nature. It is commonly understood as behaviour intended to disturb or upset, and it is characteristically repetitive."
I hope you see what I'm getting at. If not... I'm concerned for you or potential people around you.
He's disturbing her, and it's upset her enough that she's tried to get a hold of gm's and even come to the board for help, and half of you people are attacking her for it. What is wrong with some of you people? Do you just have screwed up moral standings?
No, but the whole, "He looked at me, I'm reporting him for harassment", thing is getting old. Seriously, how much time has everyone wasted debating this, when the issue could have probably already been solved at this point by just ignoring it? The saddest thing is that more than one person has mentioned this player does the same thing to other people and is well known. So I'm going to go on a whim and call it like it is - The guy obviously has no life and nothing better to do, but there is literally NO REASON anyone should fear for their safety due to him spamming emotes.
There are so many avenues that can be taken to avoid this guy that it makes absolutely no sense why this has even become such a huge issue. Just because someone "feels harrassed" doesn't mean SE needs to stop everything they are doing to ban this guy for life. That's like saying a prinicipal of an elementary school should ban Ricky the third grader because he keeps staring at his classmate little Susie and she "feels harrassed."
Come on, really?
They don't have to ban him for life, but atleast something. If it were the first time and she hadn't asked him to stop or anything, it would be understandable, but it's not.. She asked him to stop, she black listed him, and he Still does it to her after she expressed her feelings about it. It's obvious that a gm should step in and say "hey, knock it off with her." or something atleast.
Unless there's a GM on here that can confirm whether or not it's been addressed, you can't assume they haven't.
Regardless, I'll make it simple since I'm guessing "snip?" means you didn't understand my point - People need to grow some thicker skin. This is a game, not real life.
Actually the ? I think was ether I missed it on your first comment or auto correct on my phone lol. But yeah, I know people need tougher skin, but at the same time you can't just ignore a cry for help. Blacklisting, informing the person they don't like what's happening, and asking them to stop and dealing with it that way for a while before coming to us and gm is pretty good I'd say. Tough skin is one thing, but it only lasts so long.Unless there's a GM on here that can confirm whether or not it's been addressed, you can't assume they haven't.

Do GM actually help at all in this regard?
Lot of victim blaming I see. You really think it's on the person being harassed to grow thicker skin than for the harasser to, oh I don't know, stop doing something they KNOW bothers someone else? If you don't know that it makes them uncomfortable that's one thing, but if they ask you to stop talking to them and even blacklist you, how do not take that as a sign to leave that person alone? At that point you become the person in the wrong for not respecting someone's request.
