Lost Atma book retrieval?

One of our FC members somehow deleted their first Atma book. I was asking for them to see if there was anyway to retrieve this without having them have to repurchase it with 1500 myth tomes. Yes they realize the mistake just curious if someone knows a way to fix this. They tried going to calamity vendor and back to npc in mor dhona but said they couldn't find a way to get it again

I wouldn't waste it on that. Think they will be better biting the bullet, learning from the mistake and getting 1500 tomes again for it.

if it was the 9th book, it might be 13.5k to get again, if they don't keep track of it when you trash away the only key item you have

You don't have to purchase the books in any sequence, other than that doing the first book for a stat unlocks the second etc., and you can't "lose" completed books because they just modify your weapon (unless you deleted your weapon, I suppose).

Having to grind 1500 mythology again is certainly a pain, but I think it's the best option really.

I can't imagine using it for anything that's not otherwise irreplaceable, or at least something that you have a very low chance of getting back. A lost Trials of the Brave book can easily be reacquired for a few hours' investment.

Someone brought wrong weapon from marketboard for relic instead of saling it they dropped it and got the gil back.

how can you delete your book without knowing? as a key item you even need to check a box to delete it.
The only way you can delete it, is if you wanted to delete it
so I don't see why you would get it back...

One time restore is the only option besides re-doing it.
