    I don't understand the stat points personally. I don't really feel like I had a choice.
    If it was global for your character, and not per job, and made you either focus on being a healer, being a tank, or being DPS it would make sense, but since it's job-specific there's really no point to it.

    It will be more obvious once you start play SMN/SCH and/or when other classes that you play get split jobs.
