    30 attribute points

    i just randomly was seeing what the differences were. and found its veryyyy underwhelming. i was shocked. now i could be missing something but is there a reason for this? i tested it with the sch/smn. i main smn so all 30 are in int. but i put all in mnd and with my sch the heals were only like a 30-40 heal difference. thats complete crap if you ask me. and even 30 in piety was only like a 200 mp diff. now i dont expect high numbers from either but thats awfully low imo. i feel like all classes would just benefit from the extra Vit imo but i could be missing something.

    30 points into a classes main stat is pretty huge, especially for dps. My scholar gets quite a bit more than 30-40 per cast when I switch back from int for summoner though.

    well my sch is only i87, smn is i94, but i didnt really notice more than about 40ish points. i just figured 30 points would be more of a difference. like i think have all in int for smn then playing sch should show a diff. but eh i guess lol

    this factor throws your testing. try removing all gear to get base numbers & attack some dummies.

    Not really. as 10ilvls with gear give more than 1 stat XD

    I tested it today also, ilvl 86 WHM. Had points in vit for when I was doing the relic (HP was a bit low for Titan). Finally got around to switching to MND. Tested heals before and after and found the difference to be around 30-40 also. Thats with ex primal WHM weap. So being conservative, for every 20 heals you get equivalent of 1 extra.

    First T5 clears casters put points into Vit for greater survivability on FBs.

    30-40 might seem low, but if you look at how many more % it is it instantly seems much better and resonable.

    Even so, 30-40 per heal is not going to make or break any of the fights in game. Going on percentages gives a false overview of their total value as we are still using pretty low numbers. Avg 1000 on cure 1 or 1030. is more accurate than just stating a ~3% increase.

    Not stating it doesn't hurt to have, but also putting into Vit for healers doesn't hurt either XD

    For the most part, the attribute points are a pretty silly choice. The 'illusion of choice' really. MNKs and DRGs will of course always choose STR, BLM's INT, etc.

    It just makes it difficult for SMN and SCH peeps, but 30 attribute points doesn't really cripple any job. An i90 SCH is not an i80 SCH because they go full INT for SMN's sake.


    The only reasonable difference I've found is using full VIT for my PVP BLM since surviviability is pretty important.
