Seriously, would be so much better of a system if it were secondary stats instead.
VIT is the only attribute that makes a noteworthy/noticeable difference. Yeah, 30 of any stat is a lot when you look at it by an equipment/ilvl stance, but it doesn't make TOO great of an impact. At least, nowhere near weapons type of impact would. PIE would also be noteworthy if it weren't for the fact that it's not really worth putting points into for anyone since MP isn't a problem most of the time.
However, when you think about how much of an impact say... 30 extra damage is when your standard attacks do around 200+ dmg, 30 is a significant boost to overall dps. From a DPS standpoint, it's a small immediate boost but helps your overall output greatly. When it comes to healing, I guess it's even more of a hit or miss. You'll run into less situations where the extra 30 MND means the difference between life and death... but that's probably EXTREMELY rare and situational. The question comes down to: is it really needed though? Not really, given that VIT was originally more important to endgame Coil. If you're into the min/max perspective, the 30 bonus stat is significant and it ends at that... it doesn't matter if it's necessary, it's all about dishing out the numbers (again, it doesn't matter if it's necessary or not). If you're not a min/max player, then it really doesn't matter, as it won't prevent you from doing anything.

I personally have 25str/5 vit on my monk.
Those extra 5 points in vit has saved my butt a few times.
