for those having trouble with ranged tanking, this works for me. First, you need good communication, so it's not always viable in a DF group, but the DD's need to know to wait until you are in position. As caster and ranged mobs try to keep a set distance, to approach, but don't seem to run away, pull much further back until the ranged mob is where you want, then run up to the ranged mob and the other mobs will crowd around solving issues with keeping hate on them. There are situations where this isn't entirely viable, like in Wanderer's Palace with the three ghosts after the pudding boss, however in most situations that is what works (at least for me).
