    T4 healer tips

Hello, I know it is old content, but since it does not have the weekly limit it may be a good place to farm tomes and also maybe obtain ilvl 90 drops at the same time.

Allagan gear is useful for more than one class, so it's an advantage relative to the myth tome gear in that sense.

Are there any important things to know? Guides speak about positioning, and also mention to be careful to not overheal to not create enmity.

But there are moments where they use Medica II, regen, full blown heal so to speak.

    Thank you in advance!

In general you should only have to focus on your respective tank. If you're tank is OK throw a buff up on the other tank and your tank before the next phase.

People who generally take damage other than the tankS- melee(aoe damage from soldiers and knights) blm (tend to pull their soldier off the tank) you (spider agro for first dread be in position to feed immediately, all phases after be near the ot until he/she has agro then move to a safe range until the next phase drops keeping both tanks in range). Whole thing is ezpz I promise

Pick a tank and stick to healing them for the entire fight. It's okay to use Medica II once tanks have aggro established on their targets. Save Shroud of Saints for Dreadnaught phases so you don't get any initial aggro. If you're falling behind on keeping your tank up by all means be liberal with Cure II; especially if your tank is the one with the double Dreadnaught in the final phase.

    WHM main here.
To me, the hardest parts of this fight are the phase transitions. You're a healer, YOU WILL get aggro when the mobs spawn. Sometimes it's nice, because you can grab the spiders and feed them to the dreadnaught, sometimes you may get the Rook over you. If he doesn't kill you, you will get Pox and die after... My advice for this fight : be very careful when your group is about to push the next phase. Use Regen when it is safe, never cast MedicaII before another wave of monsters. This fight is not hard, it's all about controlling the monsters that appear. If your tank cannot grab them all, you lose the control of the fight, one dps/healer dies, and it's a wipe.

For the full blown heal, again, anytime once the tanks have a nice enmity AND the next phase is not soon.

    dont cast
    wave spawns
throw out as little heals as possible without letting anyone die for a few seconds
then throw out HoT's and focus on your tank
when HoT's are wearing off, almost everything should be dead
top tank off just before last thing dies
    repeat

cast buff when you can, SS, Aldo, E4E and focus on the tank you are assigned to, only use HoT during the phase after tank secures the aggro.

If you are Whm, you can spam few holy at the start of Phase 1 and Phase 4 to help dps down the mobs.

    Whm here.
Like people have said, pick a tank and keep him alive. If you are a whm, throw a regen on the other tank to help him stay up. Melee dps will get hit by Knight/Soldier AoEs, I tend to just throw a regen on them to help keep them up so I can focus on my tank. If you have eye for an eye and you are healing the MT, you can put it on him just as P3 starts, it usually is back by the time the MT has two dreads. If you are healing the OT, I tend to put it on him during P2 and again during P6 when he has all the adds.

Save your shroud for the best times. I strongly suggest making sure you have shroud when P6 starts. It makes it easier for the tanks to get the hate off of you. If you need to use shroud before that try to do it before P3, if done later than that you might not have it back up in time. Keep an eye on the melee that is lbing the spinner rook, more than half the time they will get poxed. After that, just keep up your tanks. The fight isn't so bad, but it can be intimidating the first time you try it. Make sure you know where to stand.

Not a whm main but do this fight quite often. Personally use shroud of saints on phases that soldiers pop when available. Tanks have a bit of trouble holding them sometimes since they are not doing dmg only enmity gain. Dreads I don't worry about short of being behind them hate wise. The tanks are hunting for these specifically for their high dmg potential. If one gets loose before the mt dies its on them. That said they hit hard out of the gate, keep that mt alive at all costs.

As WHM I use Shroud in phases 2 (first knights and soldiers), 4 (rooks + spiders) and 6 (last phase). It helps a lot with enmity management. and I'm able to use AoE heals.

When we ran turn 4 I always healed off tank + party as WHM, the SCH healed main tank.
