Last Person In My Free Company Question

I am in a Free Company. I didn't check for a while and after a month I am the only one left and I am suddenly the Master of the Free Company. I have access to the chests. If I remain the only one in the Free Company, will it disappear at some point?

If not then I'm staying for the extra chest room to store stuff. But, I need to know that answer before I put all of my extra stuff in there. Could someone who has conclusive knowledge let me know if it will disappear with whatever I put into the chests as well? Or if anything will disappear. We didn't have a house it looks like.

As long as you keep logging in, you'll stay the leader of the FC and everything should still be there. The leader moves to the next highest person that's been on the most recently and so on if the leader's been inactive for like 30? 35? days

Yeah. I guess everyone left or has been offline for 30+ days so suddenly I'm the Free Company Guild Master. Too bad they didn't have a house LOL.

I imagine it's to encourage people to prepare for their free company in advance by gathering their officers before they establish it. Or it's to discourage people from making a hordes of empty free companies. Or both.

They can, but a character can only be a member of 1 FC at a time.

Not on the same character - you can be member / own only one FC at a time. The only option would be to have alts creating additional FCs but the "benefits" are really moot here anyway.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean in creating them? And not to be rude but you're playing an MMO. If you wanted single player stuff, you should be playing a single player RPG.
