1.18 won't make it a much better game
1.18 won't make it a much better game

Sorry, I stopped reading after the "writer" used the words "clunky" and "toon".

I would say this is a biased review because its released just before the big patches, they say they will review it again after the patches, but they never gave a timescale or said which patches, will it be after 1.18, after 1.20 or they cant be bothered and wait till they ruin the reputation of the game, when its improving and say "oh we were gonna review it again today" any review worth taking notice of would wait till they release atleast 1.18
Also with further reading the say auto attack and battle system overhaul is a rumour, therefore has lost ALL credability

I don't think this guy was trying to "ruin the reputation of the game" SE did that before anyone.
"Sorry, I stopped reading after the "writer" used the works "clunky" and "toon"." WORDS, Its a good job you didn't write it.

this review was a joke the writer couldnt even be arsed to do the minimal effort in research (auto attack is sure a rumor with that official vid duh)
its just the same shit from september parroted over again without menitioning ANY of the improvements since
plus releasing it FOUR days before the first of the big overhaul patches that the team worked their asses off for just screams sabotage

Nah, I think the review was timed badly, but in essence "fair".
Ten months after release, the game simply shouldn't be in the state it is.
And whether a patch comes out tomorrow or not simply doesn't matter at that point.
10 months is too long.
Like, the horrible retainer wards have become a little less horrible due to the tedious "search for red stars in a dungeon filled with voiceless twitching zombies" minigame introduced 5 months ago?its just the same shit from september parroted over again without menitioning ANY of the improvements since

Uh oh! Typo police! Your bold typeface made your point so clear, too. I'd better back off, I'm dealing with a great typo-finder. People must think you are just a delight. Also, the phrase "It's a good job you didn't write it." makes zero sense.
Take your lame ARC and your fishbot and stay off my back.
Comparing Rift to FFXIV is like comparing a banana to my mom's vibrator. Can they both serve the same purpose? Sure. But obviously one was designed to be fully functional from the get go.Your totally right, because SE does not have high financial backing....or years of experience behind them. And your arguments that because Trion copied other successful mmos somehow makes my original statement invalid. Ok, that is about the same reasoning level as me getting bent at SE for copying Mana and Cure from other RPG's. Ideas come from somewhere, Trion just happened to gather them From EQ/GW/WoW.
In the end...you still haven't managed to put up an intelligent counter my original statement. 10 months is plenty of time to get something done with this game. But hey, in three days....I'll be wrong....maybe.
My point is, disturbing analogy aside, is that Rift can pump out 2 to 3 times the content because they were satisfied with the end product the put out. SE failed to do that, as we all know. Yoshi has said that to create anything brand new to the game, it takes about 6 months of development time from start to finish. This is why we are languishing in the state we are in. We can only hope that the next few months, the new team will start pumping out some of that content they have been promising.
Easy Raze. I don't want you to get all emotional and cut yourself. Also thanks for checking my profile, lame archer and fishbot nasty WORDS.![]()

Good thing you posted that, it's a good job I didn't cut myself.
