Can't see any equipped weapons

I recently reinstalled the game and I can't see any weapons on any player, not even any of the tables that show up during synthesis.
When I attack I'm swinging an invisible spear.

Right when I logged in when I reinstalled I THINK I could see my carpenter's saw, but after switching I couldn't see anything anymore.

Anyone know a solution or a reason for my problem? I couldn't find anything in my searches.

Could you check if some files in youf ffxiv folder are write-protected? Invisible stuff is normally due to some files being corrupted, not updated correctly or missing.
