Final Fantasy <FFXIV> Hosted Lottery!

Here's how it works: You buy one or more tickets and that gil you spend goes into a pot. At the end of the lottery, the winner is chosen based on random rolls, and they get the pot.

This event is open to all players on Adamantoise, including those not in our free company.

Tickets

Ticket sales began on May 12th at 12:00 AM PST.

Bulk tickets are sold at a discount, and for the first three days (until May 15th at 12:00 AM PST), all tickets are 10% off (but the jackpot is not revealed during that time).

Tickets are sold at the following prices:

1 Ticket: 10,000 gil (9,000 during the first three days)
25 Tickets: 240,000 gil (216,000 during the first three days)
50 Tickets: 450,000 gil (405,000 during the first three days)
125 Tickets: 1,000,000 gil (900,000 during the first three days)

You can buy a ticket by simply mailing or trading me gil in-game and telling me it's for lottery tickets. My in-game names is Yuuki Kazehara (or sometimes Hayato Kazehara). If at any point you want to know how many tickets you have, let me know and I'll tell you.

Once gil is transferred, there can be no refunds.

Prizes

There is currently a single prize: the jackpot. The jackpot is comprised of 95% of the pot. Four percent of the pot goes to the guild to fund other activities, and one percent goes to the lottery administration.

The current jackpot is 3,416,200 gil.

For the first three days (until May 15th at 12:00 AM PST), the jackpot will not be revealed. After that, the number here will be updated roughly daily, and you can ask me in-game for a real-time update.

If participation in this lottery is good, there will likely be more prizes in the future.

Winning

At the end of the lottery, the winner will be decided via a roll of random numbers. For each player, each ticket they purchased will equate to a randomly generated number, and the player that rolls the highest number will get the jackpot. I'll stream the process at twitch.tv/rz2yoj as soon as the lottery ends so whoever wants to witness it can do so. You do not have to be present to win.

This lottery will end on June 2nd at 12:00:00 AM PST.

I will post the winner here and do my best to get the winnings out as soon as I can.
