It's worth repeating since many entitled gamers (high level and casuals both) need a reminder. So now that we have an understanding, explain to me how come the OP (or you) should expect me to explain a fight to you and be upset if I decide that i don't and I no longer want to group with them?

Personally I'm happy to help but I'm really just trying to follow your logical argument.

The logic is simply that elitist are so adverse to any of the lesser players being around them and they deliberately misinterpret what is being written or said. The OP is NOT demanding you explain the fight, nor am I demanding that you explain the fight. But it is to your own interest and for the interest of the party as whole to explain the fight. Usually nobody explains anything until after the first wipe anyways, because it make sense to explain it then, because obviously someone does not know. And it works best for you to explain it, especially if you are the one that knows. It is either that or you leave and let the rest flounder. Choice was your, and still is yours.

Of course there is still the choice to abuse vote kick. And that is what the OP is complaining about is the vote kick abuse and the expectation that people watch and study videos and get things ruined by spoilers before they even try the content for the first time.

There is nothing wrong to study a fight first, but it should not be mandatory. And it is not about what people say, although it would be nice if people don't have to trolls and be nasty about it. But it is about abusing the vote kick. Please see what the OP has written at the start.

There is no real studying needed for the most part...if people choose to do so then that's their choice. I think it's fun going into a fight you know nothing about. If someone wishes to offer an explanation I won't turn them down, but if not...I like being surprised and learning on the fly.

If you're getting kicked on a regular basis, as a tank no less, you might want to examine what you're doing too. I'm not denying there are jerks out there that abuse kicking but kicking a tank is pretty much a last ditch thing to do. I've tanked up to 88 now and never gotten kicked. I've only ever voted to kick a person once and that was actually a high level character that was being a tool to a low level character that was doing just fine. But I also watch video and read up on everything before I go in it. Because I'm a tank and way too much usually hinges on the tanks. Not to mention there's mechanics that are definite wipes in extremes and coil if you don't know what to expect. That's just me though. I can't stand a wipe that's my fault. I won't ever initiate a vote kick on someone who keeps screwing up but I'll definitely drop if we keep wiping on the same spot.

That is just such a irresponsible thing to say to the OP. Way to go to blaming the victims. First of all you do NOT even define regular. You make sound like it is the OPs fault. Regular could be 1 in 10 runs or every run. If you run into elitist jerks on a regular basis that does this:

There's that word again lol. And there's nothing irresponsible about suggesting some self reflection. Simple logic: in hundreds of dungeons I can't recall seeing a tank kicked. The OP on the other hand is having bad experiences on a regular enough basis that it's souring the game for them. That's two very different experiences. So something is going in there. And what's out of anyone's control? If pugging is causing problems for the OP use PF to find like minded people. Or better yet join an FC with like minded people.

Oh, and speed running is not in any way shape or form an "abuse" of DF. DF exists to make partying up fast. That's it. How people decide to run dungeons after that is up to them. Abuse would be harnessing a player who doesn't want to SR but there's nothing abusive about SRs themselves. And if you're queuing for Bray HM then be ready to SR because that's what the community wants to do at the moment.
