Pretty much this. If people are doing old content and aren't becomming familiar with the mechanics of the fight first then it's not great for the group.
If you have your own group that wants to learn the fight then that's different.
This happens in low level dungeons, too. I've never wiped, but, I can already tell where the game is going , for me, at 50.
Specifying requirements for a PF group isn't elitism, it's trying to find a group that is a match for the goal you are trying to achieve. I'd much rather see a group that specifies "farm group kill exp required" upfront so I can know not to join it if I'm still learning the fight... That way I don't waste my time getting in a group that doesn't fulfill my goal.
As to the OP, you realize you are forcing your playstyle on others just as much as they are forcing it on you right? Watching a video isn't required but others are also not required to group with you if they do not want to. Not making an attempt to understand a fight ahead of time is just going to lower the number of willing party members but really, play the game how you want. Just expect others to play it how they want as well.
That is because elitist like you are hard of hearing or can't read or both, and I will quote myself see:
--------------.....
Elitists like you makes me want to just jump into to those iLvl 85+ parties and then just wipe just so I can screw with them. But, NO, I derive no joy in doing that, nor do I have any desire to waste other peoples time or my own. But people joining stuff on the duty finder/roulette should NOT be expected to have clears or studied video.
The elitist here are trying to hijack the thread and misrepresent the issue. The OP is NOT joining the elitist PF groups with iLevel 85+, must have clears, etc. groups. The OP just doing duty finder and trying to do iLevel 62 and HM primals. For crying out loud, the elitist are all like unable to read or something? As to the OP, you realize you are forcing your playstyle on others just as much as they are forcing it on you right? Watching a video isn't required but others are also not required to group with you if they do not want to. Not making an attempt to understand a fight ahead of time is just going to lower the number of willing party members but really, play the game how you want. DF is to learn and for the lazy.
If you want an experienced group, go find one. That is what party finder, linkshells and FC's are. Anyone complaining in DF that some one is learning the dungeon doesn't have a leg to stand on. DF was meant to bring people together, and it doesn't discriminate on skill or knowledge. If you go into a DF expecting experience you are ignorant of the tool you are using.
"You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."
This. Please, this. This would help people who do t5 farm parties and if they happen to pug t6-8.
Guess what chances are the creator of that said party may not have those clears themselves....
It would be real laugh to see that on day one of coil T6, you know there will elitist who haven't even done it once create PF with ridiculous nonsense like that.
This is just a system made for elitist. SE should never do this.

Someone really likes the word elitist. I'm afraid they don't know what it means though.
Just another word for "high level haters" see thread topic. Maybe you can not read.
