First off apologies in advance if there is an existing thread on this subject, I searched briefly and can only assume my criteria were inadequate if there is.

I have been experiencing an issue sporadically on PC wherein all visual effects in the game (mostly particle effects) will flicker and leave trails and artifacts. I can usually resolve the issue temporarily by minimizing the game and returning to full screen. I have not opened a bug report on this yet as I cannot replicate it on purpose and therefore I am not sure if I can categorize it as a bug. It happens fairly infrequently, maybe once or twice a week, but it seems to happen in random situations and strangely seems to be more frequent lately.

Strangely my friend has a similar GPU (I have a GTX660, my friend's is a 680) and this has happened to him once way back in beta but never again afterwards as far as he remembers.

Dxdiag can be found at http://pastebin.com/xJ7x4ZKK.

You can actually see it in action in The Navel starting at about 3:20 here: http://youtu.be/6AiCb4QCiuI

Sorry for the muted audio (if that matters); this is a shadowplay and I was listening to music in the background that is not native of FFXIV as I was not expecting to record anything. I included the entire 5min recording (it's a coincidence that it's the entire fight) so the lead up could also be seen. You'll notice that it gets especially distracting when I try to dodge Weight of the Land (I actually end up eating it because I have no idea where it is on my screen).

I have the latest WHQL drivers from NVidia so I'm not sure what else to try at this point. I have not tried the beta drivers but this has been happening through multiple WHQL versions so I do not expect there to be a sudden solution for this in unsigned drivers (but I can try if we think I should!)

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
