Random Generated Dungeon Type for a small Party/Solo? [Dissidia 012 - Labyrinth]

So, I've recently been replaying Final Fantasy Dissidia 012, and was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a FF14 version of Dissidia's Labyrinth mode or anything similar (i.e. A randomizing Maze-Dungeon)?
    • Free entry when unlocked (Pathways dedicated to different levels increasing in difficulty- e.g. Lv 10 Labyrinth)
    • Can enter solo or with a custom Party
    • Randomly generated pathways with battle combinations and unique treasures which can only be obtained when reaching a "Goal" rather than going deeper into the Labyrinth.
    • Descend deeper into the Labyrinth for tougher/rarer Monster combinations and larger riches and drops
    • Appearance of special hidden characters/enemies from the lore Final Fantasy.

Generally flowing the same as the Dissidia Labyrinth, but instead of a Menu to chose a Pathway and Battle, the Players enter small instance fields with different paths which the Party or Delegated Leader can Vote to choose from.

A generating "endless" dungeon should help the clear some of the "Grind through Levels XX to XX" a lot of people usually rush through for EXP which skips important Story stuff from dungeons that Newer Players slow down to enjoy.

It could be a good idea!! Would let some us who are stuck on some bosses pass, be rewarding, fun, and creative.

On the one hand, yes, this would be very cool, and a nice way of keeping things interesting when I absolutely can't take any more grinding low-level fates/dungeons/etc.

However, I'm also a programmer, and I can tell you from experience that procedurally generated content like you're describing is absolutely nowhere near as easy to create as it sounds, and this would represent a significant investment of time and resources from the dev team. With the direction the game is currently going, I just can't see them justifying the amount of effort something like this would require. I'm not saying we'll never see something like this, but I expect it will be at least a few years down the road.

How's your sophmore year at community college working out for you?

On topic, I can imagine how that's going to work:
Play Labyrinth for 1 hour and have enough seals/logs to completely upgrade your set!

I am actually surprised this isn't a thing already. The replay value would skyrocket, newbies and casual elites would probably roll this non stop if the drops were good, not just solo players but parties too.

And as far as "procedurally generated content" goes, I'm sure the over 20 million dollars a month income could create a whole team just for said content.

So... having a realistic view of how corporations make decisions means I go to a crappy college? Sure, bro, whatever. You keep praying to Yoshi-P for this to happen. Meanwhile, I'll be enjoying the content we already have.

I did suggest something similar in a few posts and iirc even filled a suggestion IG.

My suggestion though is an open world zone(size of current coerthas) that would change once per week and that you would need 6 light parties to finish. Each party would have to find one command point(and there would be prob 12 command points in total so atleast 12 paths through it) - that to get to it would require to either fight a boss gauntlet, find an few items in a few chests(which natuarlyl would be in hallways full of mim*cough*chests), solve puzzles and riddles, have a lot of trash stuff to kill etc...

Once you activate a command point the room gets locked down and a boss spawns that you need to kill(I'd add a few extra requirements here that fer examlpe at least 2 people need to be on the commant point/points in the room) - after all 6 are defeated all 6 parties get warped to the final boss arena. Down that and horray get some more rewards(the various paths should offer rewards as well along the way). Among the mobs I'd also add should be such that are actively hunting for players.

On reset day the labyrinth would change again and you get to start fresh.
