FF XIV is just and MMORPG in final fantasy Unniverse.

thats all and this fact does not limit anything , just different story , different class , different gameplay , but these game are mmorpg , what we could find in an another mmorpg could be find in ff xiv too if it is great , or cool for some players

Maybe because the classes weren't really balanced for 1 vs 1. Can't imagine anyone wanting to fight a tank alone.

I would love request dual feature. It's always kinda mindless fun and nobody takes it seriously. If you're worried about someone spamming this, it's not that big of a deal. I don't see anyone spamming trade requests everywhere, but if someone did I'd just blacklist em for trolling.

I'd like frontlines to work like this. We teleport into a specific zone. Each GC has their own base or town to TP to, effectively a safe zone. Once exited, its free for all GC vs GC vs GC. I'll take my gridania pride with me, and kick some major limsa booty. Take over additional hubs, and make it reset every 12 hours or so. Points, exp, and rank depends on objectives and players killed. Objectives giving a ton more. Random quests appear, kill x amount of y class. Or do x amount of heals, x amount of damage ect. for us to farm daily pvp quests.

I hope it'll never happen but then again if it did, I'd probably just ignore it like I'm doing with current PvP. As long as it is relegated to its own corner and does not affect my gameplay, they can do whatever they want. I'm just bitter because PvP gets the best looking gear.

Duel is generally a feature that both players agree to initiate.
If your afraid of a certain class, don't duel them.
