    grand company question

    I'm at the stage were I need to pick one , game doesn't really give you much to go on . Reading on the internet it sounds like maelstrom is best for a tank . I'm planning on being a paladin so I guess that's the best one for me to pick?

    The differences are just cosmetic really, there might be a minimal difference in stats on a few pieces of gear, but it's not really going to make a difference in the long run, especially by the time you hit 50 and start gearing up there.

    GCs were only good for certain classes in 1.0. In 2.0+, GC gear is pretty lackluster. For example, while the maelstrom gear looks like tank stuff with parry, it sure doesn't have the defense of tank stuff.

    GC is really just different colors. The gear itself will be replaced pretty quickly once you hit 50 so its no life changing decision.
