    RMT tells/shouts

How long dose it take the GMs to ban someone? I reported someone spamming RMT stuff and the next day, they are still doing it.

I know you want us to add them to our block list but my list is full and I am sick of having to remove someone just to add someone else. It also dose not say anyone of them have been deleted. Also a block list is for people who are playing the game and NOT cheating but bug the other player in some way.

I'm going to toss this out there again: You should add another option that the player can just click on there name and say report for spam. It will then block all message from that player and it can give you all the info you guys need so we as the players do not have to spend 10 mins of are time filling out something.

Also Why cant we just dump are block list so we can start it off clean? Removing things one by one is not cool.

A banned account will not end up with the characters deleted since the account could have been hacked and used without the actual owner's knowledge.

That being said, I'm 110% in favor of there being an option to automatically submit a report while blacklisting someone for RMT. Of course, there would need to be some penalty should the user choose to abuse the feature. It would also be nice to have an option to select multiple names to remove from the Blacklist at one time.

No game company will reveal how long it takes for them to ban someone. Usually they do it in waves as to not tip off to spammers that a particular bot type is being watched (otherwise they'd just update their code and effort wasted).

What I do is keep only 10 people in the blacklist at a time, every once in a while after blacklisting someone, I delete a few of the oldest ones until I'm back to ten, problem solved.

As for the auto-report system, sorry, but that's not going to happen. This would get abused way too much. Just copy and paste the message they sent you, copy their name in, and fill in the zone/server information and just send it out, it really doesn't take that long.

Adding something to punish players for abusing it is just more work than it is to deal with the actual issues themselves being reported, the amount of abuses would outweigh the actual reports.

Just... clear out the blacklist, and do it more often, and just send the reports yourself, it's really not that big of a deal.

It does seem to take awhile for them to investigate RMT reports, how long? I don't know.

As someone has stated earlier, banned names are not automatically removed from your list unless the person in charge of the account (be it the account's original owner or the RMT spammer) deletes the character that was used for spamming. So you will have to remove the names off of your black list yourself. It is safe to say that you can remove the RMT spammers that are at the top of your black list as you will not be spammed from them again.

I do agree that it would be nice to, at least, click on the name of an RMT spammer, select an option to report them for spamming and it automatically "mutes" their spamming for as long as you are logged onto that character. That way it doesn't clog up your blacklist in the process.

I dont think it would get "abused". Blizzard has a report for spam button and it works out find for them. Why would it be any different for SE?

I just copy/paste the same message that RMT send to me.. and it works.. I think that SQEN take too much time but for save customers.. because what would happend if your account have been hacked and they banned you account just for that reason?.. Its better to send and emall to the owner of the SQEN account and later take accions.

I have been dealing with SE for a long time and unless they change how they work, they just up and ban an account for anything RMT related. People who got there accounts hack have to go thought a lot just to get the account back and unbanned. In fact, I know someone who this happen to 2 months ago, she had to go thought a lot just to get her account back. That being she had to keep calling and emailing the SE support and bugging them until they gave it back.

Yep...just remember to have timestamps turned on in your chat log so they know when the message was sent. I do this too.

I do, however, still have nearly 200 RMTs on my blacklist (including a couple Goldceo characters that have been on there for months, despite the obvious clue of having the name of their RMT site as part of their character name). I do believe SE is banning these accounts, but I get the feeling that banning does not include deletion. It would be nice to know which characters on my blacklist belong to accounts that have been permanently banned but not necessarily deleted, because my blacklist is full to bursting with RMT spammers.

A Banned Account Character Name is only Deleted if someone else on the Server wants That Name for A Character.
