I used all NQ mats for mine, and hit about 90% HQ rate overall. When you factor in the time to make 1-2 HQ 40 durability 1 star items, plus 1-2 HQ low level 40 durability items, you're spending about the same amount of time.

You're looking at 2½-3 hours per craft, which is right at the same average speed I was making NQ products plus the final products.

i found i was able to do this with only 352 Craftsmanship rating and put me at exactly 1 over the total needed for synthesis so you can lower your craftsmanship rating

    ^^ This ^^.

352 Craft works fine for HQ'ing iLvl 70 items. I have not tested on any iLvl 90s yet. NQ mats -> HQ product. The 7 IQ stack will allow BB to hit over 1600 quality at the end.

EDIT: iLvl 90 - don't see it being hard since you can craft all mats to HQ, so 445/80 @ 4980 should be easy when you can get a kick start with HQ mats giving over 2600.

With all respect to everyone suggesting NQ mats, NQ mats would not provide a '100% HQ rotation' - Which is not the point of my rotation. It might be more economic to use NQ materials for some people but for those looking for the guaranteed product with zero chance of failure, that is who this rotation is for.

a little question .... why do you use innovation before great strides ?
isn't great strides on good > innovation + great stride + ingenuity on normal ?

Some notes on ALC Spirits of Salt:

Using HQ Volc Salt with 354 control the HQ % range is from 91% - 100% using this rotation.

From 25 synths I made 24 HQ and 1 NQ

    I don't know for sure.

The aim of my rotation was to provide a completely RNG free way of getting to 100% quality. There might be nuances here and there that could make it more efficient if you're watching your steps (there are several places you could use Tricks of the Trade, for example, without ruining the actual rotation) but such moments are irrelevant to the purpose of it. I wanted a macro I could spam that didn't require me to watch what I'm doing. A rotation has to assume every step will be Normal to provide that level of consistency.

Not too bad; with 358 that should be a little higher. I went 50/50 HQ on the Salts personally, I suppose because of the Vitriol there's some degree of luck involved, albeit a small amount.

Yeah it wasn't a problem at all and the mats are so cheap anyway a NQ didn't even matter. Thought I'd post info though so people have an idea what to expect.
