my question is very simple i have a lvl 32 archer and wish to become a bard but im not sure what i am to do i know have to be a level 15 puglist aswell but im puzzuled on if i have to make a whole know acc? can anyone please help me

Go back to the ARC guild and the receptionist should offer a quest that takes you to the BRD trainer. Make sure you do all the ARC class questions up through level 30.

you dont need a new acount talk to the receptionist at any guild to unlock access to classes

Make sure you've done all of your class quests up to and including the level 30 class quest for Archer and all of the class quests for Pugilist up to and including the level 15 class quest. Once that's done, the Archer guild master will give you a quest to go to the South Shroud and talk to the Bard there, he will send you out to do something, once you return to him, you get your Bard soul stone. Equip it and congratulations on becoming a Bard.

You don't actually need to do class quests for your secondary, or at least not the level 15 quest. I thought you did, but I completed the Paladin quest the other night without having finished the Conjurer's level 15. Of course, I went and finished it afterward because I goofed, and it wasn't intentional, but still.

Well, since most of the folks didn't seem to see the actual question... no, you don't need to create another character. Simply go to the pugilist guild to unlock the pugilist. You can switch classes at any time by changing your weapon so long as you're not in combat or an instance. Also, you can set up gear sets to swiftly change classes AND gear them up.

Go to the Pugilist guildhall in Ul'dah and take the quest from the Receptionist to unlock the Pugilist class on your current character. Once you have multiple classes unlocked, you can switch between them by changing your equipped main-hand weapon/tool. Each class has to be leveled up separately from each other, so you'll go from a level 32 Archer to a level 1 Pugilist the first time you equip the Weathered Hora you receive for that Pugilist quest. (You'll still be 32 as Archer when you switch back to wielding a bow.)

Before you can become a Bard, you'll need to level up Pugilist to at least level 15, but you get a 50% XP bonus on any class below the level of your highest one, so that doesn't take too long.
