    Need help, Game is crashing.

Hello, My game has been crashing since day one of ARR. Just randomly for no reason. I'll be playing and in the middle of a conversation or even just standing around the game will crash and windows will notify me its stopped working with its little msg thingy. There is no error code. No connection issues. So i assume its something wrong with my hardware.

    This is my build:

CPU - AMD FX 4130 quad core
    RAM - 8 gb
    GPU - NVidia GT 640
    OS - Windows 8 64 bit

Can anyone help me find out why it randomly crashes? I would be very grateful to be able to play the game without problems.

Did you try updating you video drivers? I have the same problem and I even got blue screen of deaths anytime FF14 runs. I check the dump file and it was pointed to my video driver, updating the driver help out, still happens but not that much now.

You could also try updating Windows

I've been trying to avoid updating to 8.1 because I'm not sure if its good. But my video drivers are up to date.

This issue has been rampant lately. Not just in this game either. What's the windows error code you get when you crash? <~ (Event viewer) Is it a 4101? Driver Display Failure? Possible fixes: It's an error on nvidia's side. Releasing crappy patches. The last couple of patches have been sketchy to say the least on many 6 and 7 series cards. Try rolling back to 332.21.

DO NOT update your drivers, please. You will not crash using 332.21

TLDR: Nvidia's latest drivers are ASS. Rolling back to 332.21 is the way to go until they put out a decent patch.
