Latency Issues [SEA] Dungeons/Raids -End Game

My friend and I from Australia have been playing this game for a month now. With have a ping of 300 on NA. We played the game with 1 second delay, whats happening in actual game server, the aoe shows up instantly, but on our screens the aoe shows up 1 second later

Most of the time we dodged the aoe's with instant dodge we don't cast anything! JUST RUN! And we would barely scrape through.

However, when hitting Titan hardmode, he uses plumes it's virtually impossible for us to dodge it, unless we dodge before hand, but managed dodge inbetween 0.1 seconds - 0.3seconds. The last phase everyone has to stand at one position so the weight of land doesn't spread. Instant death for us for sure.

I was wondering, if its viable to do the rest of the content with this latency issue. It doesn't seem impossible (avoiding titan HM/EX) We're looking to do coil and the rest of end game content.

We tried programs like WTFast which reduces 300 ping to 270. Minor decrease, but still helps.

It should be possible by memorising the fights in order to move beforehand, as you put it. Though I haven't had the opportunity to try the most recent content, people seem to find it a viable option.

Another thing you can look into is Leatrix Latency Fix (You'll find the download on places like wowhead) Seems to have helped some people from SEA regions playing on NA servers.

This fix will not help your situation when you're that far from the server.

300 ping = 0.3s delay not 1s, do urself a favor and play in jp servers which have tons of aussies

If you are in Australia. Try come to JP server. Many people I know stay in Aegis and they are all no lag. I think Australia is closer to JP than NA too right?

A lot of people around the world randomly still have this problem. I'm in toronto (close to montreal where NA servers are) and have the issue. A number of people I play with have the same issue. And a number of IRL friends here on other servers have the same issue. SE isn't really acknowledging it's an issue, even though 100s of people seem to have the problem. So honestly if you can't fix it with one of those third probably programs you are just out of luck.

I'm not entirely convinced it's SE's doing for all those people. I've recently been playing on a few different connections from a few different internet providers for a few days at a time on a pc and ps4. At my home on my normal connection, I get a few lag spikes a day on my pc. On my ps4, the most I've gotten is one a day. Playing on my pc with a different provider (only an hour away geographically) and I got one lag spike over a week. Over at my friend's house (5 minutes away) I got zero lag spikes on ps4 while he got two over a few hours of play time.

It could just be a combination of the internet provider and the system the player uses that doesn't work well with SE's servers.

A lot of it is general latency caused by dropped packages due to insufficient peering capacity in the North American segment of the internet. It's showing up more and more in the news lately surrounding Netflix and net neutrality.
