You have no idea how jump is going to be implemented, or the potential to expand the feature.

And really, if variety is going to elicit cries of World Of Warcraft, this game will never get better.

For the record, I have never played WoW. However, I will point out that associating people who are ok with or actively want jump as WoW players identifies what I feel to be a closed-minded ignorance that plagues the XI community refugees that have found their way here to XIV. Those guys are the problem here, not the other way around and they will hurt this game more than they will ever help it.
