I recently got to Level 50 with my first warrior class and shortly after, I attempted a dungeon challenge I had not yet been in and was asked by one of my allies why I did not have a soul crystal to upgrade my warrior class and was soon asked to leave as a result.

Where can I find information on obtaining Soul Crystals to upgrade my warrior class?

For Lancer, it starts right after you do your 30 quest, from the guild master, and it directs you out into Coerthas.

The Eorzea Database has information on what the Job quests are, which give the soul crystals.
Also, you'll need to level a second class, in this case marauder, to 15 in order to start the quest for Dragoon job soul crystal.

Also, you should not be kicked or asked to leave simply because you don't have your soul crystal. That is a reportable offense. If you don't know about it they should explain and assist you in finishing the dungeon. Afterwards you can finish the job quest. The option to use your main class instead of job is intended by SE, or all high level gear would be restricted to job slots instead of only a select few sets being limited.

i would ask him to leave to if he was in my lvl 50 dg. its just amazing he got that far before anyone said anything. and im surprized healers were able to keep him up all those dungeons too.

Where can I find information on obtaining Soul Crystals to upgrade my warrior class?

For clarification, you're not a Warrior until you have the Warrior Soul Crystal, you're a Marauder until then.

I would have kicked them too at level 50, Marauder is not viable as an end game tank due to missing so many integral skills needed to tank, mainly Defiance. I don't know how someone could miss the quest that directs you to your advanced job when the bread crumb quest giver is right next to the guild.

I actually just got my Conjuror to Level 30 and I don't see any Quest symbol that would tell me which role to level to 15 to get my Job role. I only see the one that gave me my Unicorn. I've already got Warrior & Paladin and I remember there being a locked Quest symbol near the Guildmaster, but for some reason at the Conjuror, there aren't any.
