do you really want a confirmation that everyone has to click yes on in the heat of combat? if its already frustrating then why further complicate it? i would think bards are more frustrated than anyone being a dps with a healer lb lol

No I would not. What I would prefer is if every individual had their own personal limit break gauge that they could use their limit break with. (obviously a weaker variant of what we have now). I'd then create special combo limit breaks that would be set off when 2 or 3 people used them at roughly the same time. (like if you hit yours while the other persons is casting theirs it will automatically combo with it.
Is this a perfect system? probably not I'm not a professional game designer for a reason. But imho it would be better than the clunky Limit Break system we have now.
actually now that you explain your idea im all for it. tank lb plus dps lb could do damage with a short defensive debuff for the target or something. that would actually add new levels of strategy and party composition to spare us from the tired old melee dps lb boss/caster dps lb group. youve peaked my interest lolNo I would not. Phantasy Star Online actually had a system very similar to this (From back in the dreamcast era.) Everyone built their own sort of limit break (I think it was called Photon Blast), and you could use yours alone and it would give you a certain effect (Depending on how you raised it, you coudl get a cone attack, a single target attack, an AoE fire attack, a heal, a single-target buff)No I would not. The fun came in when you all synchronized it. If you started casting your Photon Blast, and someone else started casting theirs, they would 'link' together. This would allow them to enhance and share beneficial effects to buff the entire party.

In this case, they did a photon blast using 2 attacks and a single-buff. The buff was shared with those who did it, and it gives a max-level buff instead of the one they currently had running. (Also, I used this video because BURNING RANGERS is awesome!)
