Properly timed limit breaks can literally help skip a mechanic or phase i.e BL hard final boss is a good example. You can bypass the superbomb by using lb at roughly 10% give or take your current dps and if you have lb2.

If DPS is awesome, you'll only really need a level 1 limit break.
