Because most dds don't know when to use it. It's kind of sad as a tank to always tell DDs to use it.
Yeah, I find that a good amount of DDs tend to be shy when it comes to using LB and it ends up going to waste or when they do use it, it's usually at the wrong time. I had a dd use it on the super bomb in Titan EX when it wasn't necessary. So saying a simple "LB" I don't see how any dd can get angry but I guess these days everyone takes criticism/advice as a negative. Whole runs have been ruined because DDs don't know how to lb like in Levi 4 set of spumes.

Well, unfortunately, a lot of criticism these days are filled with expletives, so it makes people gun shy to try anything or go beyond whatever "MrVideoGameGuide" tells ya to do. That's why I'll crack a line that goes with it (say BLM - "Drop the giant space rock!") just to lighten em up. Most folks get upset over the most random things.
For me, it's not a big deal as much of a symptom of a bigger problem - People jumping on others for a mistake if they don't know what to do (PROVIDED they have said something about that up front. I'll save that rant for somewhere else).
I... I think exactly the same... The best example I can give, where a LB can really be useful if the DPS know when to launch it and skip more than 3 min... Is in...

Yes, that's it... Brayflox Hard...
(I already surrendered and just don't tell them anymore, if they use it bad, or don't use it, or prefer to use it in the bomb instead for killing boss and avoid it, I just deal with it, don't care anymore, it is a lost battle)
Some people save it for the big bomb which is useless. They just don't know that that fight can be finished early.I... I think exactly the same... The best example I can give, where a LB can really be useful if the DPS know when to launch it and skip more than 3 min... Is in...

On a side note, I completely forgot to mention this in my previous post, but that attitude of "I'm not using it if you tell me to" is totally childish. I can expect that kind of answer from a child talking to his mom, not you guys. The party in DF is not aware of you know or not how or when you can use your LB. They DON'T know you...! Be real, guys...
I have had DF parties where the overall weapon damage was not high enough to skip the last phase of this fight. I have found in these circumstances it is better to save it for the big bomb. It can't always be skipped.
In those cases... you're right and I forgot to mention it. It's important to evaluate the DPS before attempting to skip phases in a fight.
I can't tell you how many times a tank has asked me to use a LB in Breyflox HM hoping to pass the giant bomb phase, and due to my stupidity used it at the time he said so, and having it not kill the boss, then rages at me for being a noob. I know how to time it myself, its not hard at all. It seems like tanks always believe its the second the ads spawn, when really its about 1 second before the boss begins moving.
What I find funny is people always get angry at the melee dps for not using LB on the last boss, but I never see anyone angry at the 1-5 minutes a black mage could save by using on a large pull after the first boss in breyflox, whilst still getting the last boss LB. But, what do I know, I'm just a dps. I don't have the high skills and IQ of a tank or healer.
