Account Issue (Crysta)

Hey guys, just have a quick question. I first purchased FF14 in Japan on the release night and made my account and etc. However, a week later I took a break until now due to school and etc.

Now due to uncontrollable forces my family in the US has decided to pull me into the US for a few years until the situation gets better. My problem is that now since I have some time on my hands and wish to reactivate my account, I noticed that I cannot use purchase Crysta via 7 Eleven over here and I do not have a credit card. I heard webmoney works but not from outside Japan.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Atm you can play the game with 0 crysta, you can select pay with crysta without any in your account.

IN the future you can probably set-up a paypal account and link it to your bank account and buy crysta that way that is how I bought crysta.

Atm without a credit card that is all I can think of atm.

Thank you for the quick reply, I will try, but I am not sure if I can use Paypal and that is why I am asking first. Since my SE account is a Japanese account we only use Webmoney and that requires Japanese credit card to use or prepaid cards sold in Japan =/

I will try to see if I can add 500 crysta to my account via paypal and see if it works.

If it's a japanese account, webmoney should work.

The game is free right now.

Birii, you are in an unfortunate situation. Due to region allocations, you will need to pay for this game via a Japanese method once the game becomes pay-to-play. This means either using a Japanese credit card or finding a method to get crysta on to your Japanese account.

The way the SE account system works, SE will be presuming you still live in Japan - we are unable to change our country of residence.

The only suggestion I can think of is to write an email to Square Enix Technical support outlining your circumstances. Who knows - they may be able to help you fix things up.
