Suggestion for change to glamour

I want to glamour my gear, I like the system, but I hate glamouring one piece on to another, gear gets repped in like a week in this game and it's getting expensive.

So my suggestion is to change glamour to be on the equipment slot, not the gear in the equipment slot. E.G. Glamour a headpiece to the head slot, not the other headpiece. Then no matter what you wear, or don't wear, in that slot you'll always have the look of that piece of gear. Unless you equip something that prevents you from wearing something in that slot. So if you had a head glamour and equipped heavy DL body it would temporarily remove your head glamour until you take off the DL body.

I agree though. I still haven't glamoured anything just because
of this reason, then again, it's not all that tough to scramble up Gil anyways.
What else are we using Gil for really lol...I do wanna save for P.Housing.

It's also meant to avoid straining the already strained and limited memory on the PS3. A slot based system would consume more, whereas this system doesn't.

What? It'd be server side not client side, the client wouldn't really even notice it.

How much do glamours costs on your server? Are they ridiculously high like 100k each or something? On my server they range from 3k-5k. First few days they were 10-20k each. So they were never expensive on my server.

Also, I'm personally happy the way the system works now. I hope they don't change it.

They are 20k-50k on mine. I'd rather them just had an NPC that let you unlock a glamor for each slot, maybe per month. Like 10k gil per month to glamor that slot or something.

Higher than on my server but still decent. I mean if you're a penny pincher type of person(which is not always bad, you can get pretty rich that way) it might not be ideal...but I still wouldn't want to change a system based on that.

I don't think it's actually the price that bothers me but how many crystals there are. Removing the level would be nice.
