Did everyone say the same thing 6-9 months ago? I bet you will say the same thing in 6 months too =P
Personally I think they will release 1.19 a little faster than 1.18. But still we will wait at least 2 months probably.

I'm not looking forward to the insane nerd-raging that will happen once 1.18 is out.
People shouldn't get too hyped or decide to stay or quit based on it. They told us that it's only the required fundamental changes. They just added some light content to keep people busy for a bit.
1.19 and 1.20 will be the interesting patches filled with content and other new systems (Transporation, Questhubs, Beastmen Strongholds, Job system, stat calculations revisions, etc ...). Recent interviews (no, not the Russian one hehe) quoting Yoshida being proud of materia and special chocobo system lead me to believe that 1.19 isn't far as multiple dev teams were working on it, while the battle team was the most concerned with 1.18.

Questhubs were slated for 1.18 while beastmen Strongholds were for 1.19. With the lack of information on the questhubs though... you may be right in that they are pushed back to 1.19. Kind of hoping they will be included in an update preview this week.I'm not looking forward to the insane nerd-raging that will happen once 1.18 is out.

I'm going to take a stab and say tomorrow They will say something about quest hub... that was the first thing mentioned is going to be in 1.18 before they said anything about Dungeons soo....
Personally i am more worried about foundations on 1.18 being changed than actually content on later patches.
If game still sux on next patch no matter how much content they add would make the game any more "fun" for me in any way. ill keep my eye on ffxiv ,but i carried on with my life else were until mayor changes are in place.

Yeah but if it takes them 3+ months for "light content to keep people busy for a bit"...
You see where I'm coming from
Not to mention the ever foreboding and infinitely long "server adjustments"... When are those happening? Is anyone even working on it right now or is it just a future plan? Why is so much held back because of these "adjustments" we still know nothing about? And why the hell are they taking so long if they're so damn important?

1.18 -How long does it take to Remodel a standing building?
--Where I live there is a warehouse building that's being turned into 3 new stores. This is where this example is coming from.
1.19+ -How long does it take (Edit: to build and) to put new furniture in the newly remodeled building?

You did it again. I personally don't care what anyone thinks but why would the dev team get excited and want to hurry up if all people do is create hundreds of threads with only negative comments? Why talk shit about everything but also want to play what they create? That just isn't logical. Most people don't even know how to install an OS onto a new hard drive, but they sit here and say how SE programs too slow. lol.......
You're not even making sense. I would actually guess that most people on this particular forum do actually know how to install an OS on a hard drive, but what does that have to do with anything? You did it again. You sound as if you think anyone who dislikes McDonald's fries should not only be barred from writing to HQ about how they really would like to see curly fries as an option, but should not even be allowed to eat at the restaurant.
Intolerance is the last thing this community needs.
