Same here - I think about 1.20 the game will be in good shape and I'd be happy to pay for a subscription. I'm hoping they'll include the option to purchase additional retainers by then, otherwise I'm going to pay for my alt until they do. Or until I get 50 in all crafts![]()
"I know not what brings men joy. Of what drives them to great deeds, of what legacies they hope to leave, I know less yet. But I do know this: The true hero of this tale was the man forgotten."
Honestly, I'd pay for it now in order to support high quality future development.
I'd be happy to pay when the game provides me with at least a purpose to log on other than to do some leves with friends. Maybe after 1.20 and some more end game content is added.
I agree with Holy Dragoon. Though, I would like to see some more stuff implemented. However, I honestly don't see them making us pay until the PS3 version goes live. They most likely won't make it free (minus the first month for Ps3 players) after the PS3 release because as they've said, the PS3 is going to be their saving grace.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
1. At least 4 -5 new Class to choose with.
2. Level Cap to r75
3. 20+ End Game NMs and a few HNM
4. Isghard and a few other cool area activated.
5. Mischellous stuff Dev team already mentioned.
Then, I'm ready to pay, as well as many others I believe.
I guarantee we won't be seeing these two for a good while. They already stated they will be raising the cap every 1-2 years, so it could be over 4+ years before we see level 75. Speculation, of course, but it's possible. These expectations in order for pay are somewhat steep though.

That is a little bit much to expect, till you want to start to pay.
Of course these are Things the Game will have in the Future, and a lot of ppl want, including myself. But expecting these things to be implemented before we start to pay, looks kind of greedy to me.
you forgot to ask about 20 or 30 content dungeons, personal airships, motion sensing... something more? seems like u just dont want to pay
What they have to do to keep me around when they start to charge. I have 5 things... everything else would be minor and I could care less about it.
1) Biggest one -Enough content that no matter how much I play I cannot beat the game before the next content update/expansion.
2) 2nd biggest one - Have enough content where I can play everynight in a group and not run out of stuff to do.... I hate solo content, it bores me.
3) Spell and weaponskill animation overhaul
4) Transportation system added (not anima because that is no where near enough if you move around alot)
5 This one square cannot directly control - a healty enough total population on all servers to warrant my time invested into the game after they start to charge (which I will consider the "We fixed it" period). Without a sufficient sub count... they will either cut back on development staff, make it free to play, or scrap it.... all those options would make me quit in a heart beat.
