I am very happy that FFXIV is one of the reasons, if not the primary reason, that SE went from losses to financial gain.

This game is the most successful P2P / Subscription MMO released in the last 5 years. Keep doing what you're doing.. we appreciate it.

Thief didn't really deserve all those sales, in my opinion. It can't hold a candle to other games in the series. But yeah, they have been making a massive turnaround. Hopefully next gen is a better era for Square Enix.

I really hope Final Fantasy XVI is going to quickly follow XV. By all means, I hope it'll be great, but to me it still leans more to the "old" SquarEnix that gave us Final Fantasy XIII and XIV, than the "new" on which gave us A Realm Reborn and Bravely Default.

Still, if XV tanks like XIII did, they can always just do a HD rerelease of XII and hope it outsells XV like X HD outsold the XIII trilogy. Maybe Sony can bug them enough to get Type-0 translated and on the Vita, seeing as bringing Bravely Default west did better than they thought and Sony is desperate to make the Vita something.

I like how yoshiP as a new comer, is already on the Final Fantasy legacy panel. I hope the next Final Fantasy (probably after XV) is open world like Ni No Kuni. Go back to your roots SE!!!! Give us an open world to explore... none of this single corridor crap that was FFXIII. XIII wasn't the worst game but it certainly didn't live up to the legacy of its predecessors.

lol @ ign, how does hiring a new guy from another company to lead the NA division of SE mean that the company was in trouble, an now they are turning it around? last i checked the FF brand still sells titles whether they end up sucking or not (xiii's im lookin at u) if they were at 1.3 billion at the beginning of this year an went to 1.5 billion just off of this game, i think they was doin ok already lol

As a fan keeping true to the franchise and the fans is what will have me come back for more.

Unlike FFXIII and I hope Square-Enix stops putting Lightning in everything without an option to completely remove her.

I really hope that Final Fantasy Type-0 gets localized because that was a game that is worth playing and it's a shame that it is only a region exclusive.

While I was disappointing with the restrictions of FFXIV 1.0. I'm glad for the changes in 1.23 and ARR worked out for the best. Hear to stay as long as I can.

I'm looking forward to FFXV because it is the kind of progressive direction the franchise needs. Really appreciate what the FFXV team is doing.

Restrictions and limitations are bad especially if they are only there for the sake of graphical improvement. I hope Square-Enix really learns from FFXIII and FFXIV because it's was a shame to see the process get repeated in 2 generations.
