If you guys don't want to bother getting a masters degree in theoretical mathematics why don't you go back to WoW?

I swear, everyone is so lazy nowadays.

Well I already got my doctorate in network theory just to get the patch downloading, so I'm kind of spent on tertiary fees.

    XI player?

I'll assume so since you couldn't figure out the difference between difficulty and quantity.

Anyways, j/k and I'll assume you were too since you said "funny"

Nope, never played XI. Just haven't seen more than the beginnings of breaking out the stats and such for XIV (since stats do almost nothing atm) versus WoW where pretty much everything is broken out.

Hell, I did more math playing FFT than I have so far in XIV. . .

Oh God, you must have used Calculator too.

IMO, if you can play them right, the most dangerous party is a party full of Calculators. Especially if you play War of the Lions and go head to head with someone.

I'm fairly certain they have said they are going to make food easier to understand by having more information be shown on food descriptions. With the changes to stats (lowering how much points you have overall and at the same time making points more potent) I'd imagine that you should be within range to get a strong bonus from at least one piece of food and having the effects become apparent.

Personally I think I like how food works currently but just requires those changes. It keeps more food (and thus more low and mid-level crafters) more relevant since more serious players will be searching for the best food for their level, but anyone is able to grab what they can find in a hurry and still have it be useful. FF11's food stats are static and there are only like 6 food items anyone ever uses for various reasons and I've always thought it was kinda lame.

Edit: Also FYI, food only depends upon your base stats in the Allocation screen, so you don't have to worry about your stats changing with gear messing up your bonus.
