G'day!

Disclosure: My character is a girl, but I'm a 24 year old guy from Australia used to picking females as heroines in games. At times I regret not choosing a male because random male characters give me beaming smiles and I become confused about whether I should be blushing or cringing.

I've literally only played an mmorpg for less than a week. I see DD DPS and everything else like it, but I have no idea what all that stuff means. I'm THAT new. Like a naked, featherless chocobo screeching and trembling as he breaks through a shell and slumps into the Quicksand inn covered in gooeyness. Basically I'm disgustingly ignorant, and have no experienced chocobos to regurgitate a bit of insight

I'm a casual player, I play when I can, and I'm hoping that's okay (Not sure what use I'd be at my level, anyway). But it'd be nice to be part of a group that isn't so intimidatingly serious. Hope I can join the ranks!

Recruitment update:

We have started to build a very nice and friendly FC roster with some real funny and helpful people.
As the roster got bigger we decided that we would sort out a weekly event schedule so that people know what to expect when they log on for that particular day, if they decided that they want to participate that is

The schedule starts from a Tuesday ending on the following Monday as this co-insides
with the weekly mark caps, also all times are based on our most active times online which is from 7pm - 12am GMT


Weekly event schedule:

Tuesday - Wednesday: Coil runs turns 1-4 (ATM, turn 5 is coming, more info soon)

Thursday - Friday: FC Dungeon runs and Primal fights ( we ask which dungeons/primals people need to or would like to run before we start )

Saturday - Sunday: Basically a FFA/ FC ATMA/FATE grinding

Monday: Catch up day (missed a day the week before? catch up today)

We are still recruiting any level/role same as in the OP.

yeah, I'm in the same boat. First time I've played a MMO and really enjoying it. Live in Western Australia. Currently at a level 39 Paladin and slowly working my way through to the end game when I'm not getting sidetracked by mining, fishing, goldsmithing etc, lol. Think I'm just going to go hardcore now in the next week whenever I get a chance (long distance commute to work every 4 days and back, 600km and kids) and finish Story. Hi guys, I've been reading through these posts, and I'm interested in joining for sure!

I'm J, 26(just...) from Birmingham UK, and my character is R'rhiki Tia, main class lvl 40 Dragoon

Been jumping from mmo to mmo for years, started with Maple Story back in the day lol, been addicted to mmos ever since, but never played one long enough to reach end game content, but i have a good feeling about this one!

My work hours are odd at times, youll find me online at all sorts of weird hours, but generally evenings later in the week, and mornings earlier in the week.

I'm never in a rush to do missions or level, just enjoying the ride, although i take bosses and dungeons seriously (im a gamer after all)

Been reading through this post and I hope recruitment is still open cause would be nice to be able to join a FC that seems friendly and communicative.

So my reasons are abit of a mixture from previous recruits.

Like Gavril Cedarland and Cadence Etude I'm playing from down under Australia! I also main a female hero but I'm a 23y.o male haha.

I'm pretty experienced in MMOs but only started FFXIV when it released on the Ps4. Loved it and played my whole trial month but had to have a break due to work and uni.

So I was hoping to start playing again soon but really wanted to find a good guild that I could enjoy playing and talk to since the first guild I was randomly recruited from never spoke English and I had no idea how to communicate with them really..
