Manor instruments issue - Not playing automatically

Hello all, I finally drummed up the glazenuts to craft all 5 manor instruments and placed them in the FC house for all to enjoy. I've seen on several Youtube videos where the instruments would start playing their song automatically if anyone zoned in, however ours have never done so. I've even tried placing them all right in front of the entrance to see if it was proximity, but still nothing. Sadly the instruments won't play unless clicked. Is anyone else with the set having this kind of problem?

edit: I've also noticed that lamp switches reset themselves when I leave and enter the house. Could this be the problem? As clicking the instruments apparently puts them in auto-play mode, is the house resetting all switches to default (which is on for lamps and no autoplay for instruments, I guess?) if no one is inside the house?

For the once on when entering items a member of your FC has to be inside of the house when you enter.

Ah lame, I could have sworn switches persisted before, but I guess that explains the one time it -did- randomly autoplay. Weak.

We understand that when you interact with an instrument in your house the latest status (whether it’s on or off) is saved and there are often cases where it’s actually on but there is no sound coming from it.

In order to eliminate these cases, in patch 2.28 we’ll be correcting this so that after the song has finished playing it will automatically turn off.

I just wish there was an easier way to turn them all on simultaneously so it's not a chore trying to get them to sync up and play together properly. It'd be kinda awkward to have to move all the instruments in our FC house from upstairs where they look nice to right in front of the door just so we could hear them play correctly as we enter inside the house, especially considering how much time it took to farm up all the Glazenuts needed to make them, as well as the work needed to be able to make 3-star synths...

I'm not sure if I'm grasping what you said, but does this mean that since the instruments will be perpetually off, there will be no autoplay upon zoning in at all? If so, that would suck. It's really nice hearing the entire 5-instrument song play when someone's actually in the house to keep them turned on since it's kinda hard to manually play them in sync.

My thread, though, was when the house is empty of people the switches revert to default (lit for floor lamps, off(?) for instruments) when this didn't occur before the patch which kicks you out of the house after duties.

So... then getting all the instruments so that they would autoplay together upon entering was a waste?

We're having this issue atm and trying to figure out what to do to make it work, but now I guess there is nothing we can do, at all?

So yeah, whatever you guys did in the last patch made it to where the instruments don't play at all when entering the house, and there's still no other way to sync them up. The not playing upon entering, I can deal with, but if we go through the trouble of getting all of them, there needs to be a way to sync them up so they all play together correctly, because good luck trying to get 5 people with different internet connections to turn them on at the right moment.
