Please Advertise the PS3 Version Effectively

I'm doubtful they will have the money for any noteworthy advertising. All the devs and producers letters do is mention the "cost" of everything. It makes money sound like it is really tight for them.

Um, based on what I know for TV spots in Japan and America, XI alone covers as many commercials as they want for their products.

XIV isn't making money, therefore they're not going to splurge a ton of cash into something that may not even be beneficial to do -- cost also refers to resources, memory and workload.

It isn't making money now while it is in development, but it is presumed that they are only working on it because they will want to make money at some point in the future. If you put a bunch of time, labor, and resources into a game and then completely drop the ball on advertising (ie. letting people know it exists), why bother making it in the first place? Of course they're going to advertise. That is what their ad and merchandising departments are paid to do.
