Please Advertise the PS3 Version Effectively

SE advertising is great and all but the interviews and whatnot you mentioned are more important than anything. If people don't know that things have drastically changed for the better then people simply aren't going to care even if they do see advertising. I've been letting the people at my local gamestop know that the game is drastically changing and that come PS3 launch it'll be great. Every time I go in there we discuss it for a few minutes at least. Most having not played XIV they simply know what they've heard, that it's awful.

Very true, only have 2 RL friends I ever got to play with on FF 14. The bad press and bad word of mouth makes the rest not even want to touch it and they also naturally don't keep up with news regarding the game.

On a side note I think it's a good idea to get the game before subs or ps3 start up again as I'm sure they'll sell the game for its normal or near normal price. It's as low as $5 in some places cause it doesn't sell and alot of companies throw it in their bargain bin items. Hoping they don't charge for the xpac either, as much as they are hurting I think they need the expansion as basically a free downloadable to get even more trust back from the people. After they release that THEN they can worry about revenue!
