    Increased lockout for leaving a dungeon please.

    The lockout needs to be bumped up to 1 hour and be placed on people who leave the dungeon as soon as they get in. Beyond sick and tired of people seeing that they got either Pharos Sirius or Lost City of Amdapor for their roulette and just bail at the beggining. This leaves a bunch of empty dungeons for "in-progress" queuers to get repeatedly stuck into. Nothing drives me bonkers like getting an in-progress queue only to wind up in an empty dungeon with like 10mins elapsed on the clock. Really SE? The instance should be closed off the instant there aren't any bodies filling it anymore. Really want there to be an outrageously stiff penalty for doing this. It wastes everyone elses time. Let whoever left walk away scot-free..able to instantly requeue while everyone else has to sit and wait for a replacement or leave and sit in queue again.....not kosher.

    More visibility to the issue at hand. I'm all for there being multiple topics. It's a serious issue that I feel needs to be addressed.

    If it was up to me, anyone that leaves at the start would have ALL of their Roulette bonuses nulled.
    If you queue for Low Level Roulette and quit right away, there goes your daily rewards for High Level, Story, Trial, Guildhest, Low Level and Expert.

    Might sound harsh, but if you're the type to quit at the beginning, you shouldn't be using roulette anyway.
    Screw those guys.

    Oh, and make this also apply if you leave during the opening cutscene.
    If you are one of these people, please never queue for anything ever again.

    I think it needs to be decreased back to 15 as I'm sick and tired of eating a 30min penalty because of terrible and flat out stupid people esp brayflox HM. Look ma I can pull the whole zone. When I fail at healing them and they die because they armor is like paper or they not using their gcds. They have the nerves to blame me. Last I checked I didn't signup for a speedrun nor did I claim to be a Super Cena Healer.

    The irony is that most of the problems with leaving dungeons would actually solved if the 30 minutes penalty was entirely removed, especially since the way it works now it encourages players to do bad things like ask to be kicked, afk until kicked, or just logout and wait 10 minutes and log back in.

    The solution isn't to extend the penalty for leaving or make it apply in more situations. The solution is to remove all penalties and let the players sort themselves into dungeons they want to run.

    Ya, then we might see a lot more of people grabbin' boss hate or pulling rooms to get kicked or someone else to leave. Always hated that.

    No. The penalty is there to encourage rouletters to stick with whatever they end up with instead of selfishly screw over the people they leave behind. That's the whole point of a random dungeon queue. You spin the wheel and deal with where the ball lands. I had all my money on 22 and it landed on 17? I'll just pick up my chips and casually walk away from the table. No. You pay the casino. Or they'll take their due from you by force. In FFXIV, that due is taken by imposing upon the delinquent player a 30min time out. As the system stands now, these abusers of the system are screwing the casino out of it's money and it needs to be corrected.

    I've always disagreed with the penalty timer. It should be removed entirely. However, I can definitely see locking a person out of roulette awards if they bail. Roulette implies that you're taking a chance. If you just get to leave if you don't like the queue, it defeats the whole point. On the other hand, I've deemed most of my roulette not worthwhile (also I'm a PLD main so I'm factoring in the adventurer in need bonus). Here's why:

    Expert - I can cap soldiery fine on other content and always have an excess even without doing this.
    High - I usually do this but it's borderline. I think I get about 80 myth but a good Brayflox HM group can get me 100 in the same amount of time.
    Low - Usually very poor and/or slow players. Often takes 20-30 min. Again, not favorable when compared to Brayflox HM where you can get double or triple that amount.
    Trials - I almost always do this one but it's still borderline when compared to Brayflox HM.
    Guildhest - I do 3 a week for the Challenge Log money and to work towards achievements. Probably not worth it for most players.
    Main Story - I almost always skip this. It takes a good group in CM/Prae to equal a bad group in Brayflox HM plus there are always 1 or 2 people who get left behind.

    Gil Rewards - easily matched by 1 min of crafting.

    So basically, duty roulette should be the game of chance its name implies (you have to accept whatever you get to receive the award). But the rewards should be buffed regardless because most of them are poor odds even when the player has more control over the situation.

    Or at least nerf the Brayflox rewards (I think redistributing myth to the last boss would be enough), since all my comparisons involve the "not as good as Bray" conclusion.

    Actually, it's more like, they're eating their loss and going to a different table to try the odds there. The casino is getting their money, but the other players aren't getting any more from that player.

    It sucks, it does, but, there is nothing at all forcing a player to stay, if you want to FORCE people to stay, you are very quickly going to find yourself with even longer queue times, as people will refuse to even take the risk and just queue with FC/LS/Friends.
