Still working on my Animus so:
- Roulette (Trials, HM mainly. Sometimes a Story roulette. I only do extremes enough times to cap Soldiery comfortably and then leave them alone)
- Books
- Beast Dailies
- Treasure Hunts
- PVP (40 cap)
- Fishing
- Random crafting
- Gardening

And don't include pvp, if I wanted to do competitive play, I'd rather play a MOBA or an FPS with more mechanics.
Well if you're actively ignoring part of the content then that's kind of your own issue. 40 cap is actually quite a lot of fun, i'm far from being ready for 50 cap. People just seem to ignore it because of the stigma of PvP, or they rage quit when they first get slept. I was like this but I've turned 180 on it. It's great for sharpening your skills and rewarding to get wins on the board. There's no "lack of mechanics", and it's fairly well balanced. Those kind of complaints come from people who try it once, get trounced and then blame the game.
