Hi I was wandering if anyone could give me some tips or pointers on the kind of macros I could use on the ps4. I am using warrior for tanking.
The only real macro I use also as a war is one for provoke mainly for tank swaps tanks don't really need macros for skills other than to let others know what there doing.
/micon "provoke"
/ac "provoke" <t>
/p provoking <t> 40 sec CD <se.2>
I dont have the examples on me specifically but some tips would be To Macro Berserk + Internal Release (lv 12 Pugulist Cross skill) in the same button.
Something like this
Code:/macroicon "Berserk" /ac "Berserk" <me> /ac "Internal Release" <me>
As a War there's not a whole lot of things you'd want on macros. Most of your cool downs are very situational and popping multiple CDs when you only needed one can hurt more than it helps. At least in my experience.
I have mark 1 macroed to tomahawk it helps alot
I actually have my defensive cooldowns all on one macro. I don't have them all set but everytime I mash the button it pops a cd. I also did this with Unchained and Inner Beast so I could get all my abilities down to one hot bar. The only thing I switch for is popping defiance. Then I have my Overpower and Steel Cyclone macro'd. Along with Ddmk said but slightly different.
So they are setup like this.
Defensive Cooldown macro - I like it because I can apply all or apply one at a time based on how many times I press the button. I keep Thrill of Battle on a separate button for the individual control.
/macroicon "Vengeance"
/ac "Vengeance"
/ac "Foresight"
/ac "Featherfoot"
/ac "Convalescence"
/ac "Bloodbath"
Pull Macro - This one is nice as it will apply the mark to each target selected. So you can easily mark targets out of range prior to the pull.
/macroicon "Tomahawk"
/mk attack <t>
/ac "Tomahawk" <t>
Aoe Macro - This one is nice since it will use steel cyclone first if you have 5 stacks of wrath.
/macroicon "Overpower"
/ac "Steel Cyclone"
/ac "Overpower"
I also have Provoke/Holmgang attached to the same macro. But I hardly ever use it.
/macroicon "Provoke"
/ac "Provoke" <t>
/ac "Holmgang" <t>
Lastly is my Unchained/Inner Beast Macro. This one I am not sure if I am fond of it and may attach it to Berzerk. The reason being is I may not want to use Unchained and really want a self heal. But it has never killed me because of it.
/macroicon "Inner Beast"
/ac "Unchained"
/ac "Inner Beast"
I never use Fracture as I feel it kills my tp to keep up for a nominal gain in threat.
I am a ps4 user so I feel your pain trying to cram everything into one crossbar.

I would really recommend against the use of Macros like these, even on PS4, as your Cooldowns should be used situationally and with some of the above, you'll really suffer from a lack of control with what cooldowns you're using and when. This is just an example, even though the Echo Buff has really trivialised it, but when Main Tanking Turn 5 as Warrior, I wouldn't want all of my cooldowns on one button for Death Sentences. Vengeance and Convalescence are two of your strongest cooldowns, and I wouldn't want to have to cylce through all of the others to try and get the one that I wanted. I always used to save Convalescence to help out the Healers in the event that I was hit by Death Sentence's healing received debuff, and could not jump into the Conflag (although with the Echo, I can't remember the last time I had to jump in...)
I also play on PS4, and the only macros I use are one for Provoke, to show a message in Party Chat that I've used it, one for Holmgang to do the same, and one for Berserk which counts down and gives a 5 second warning to my Healers about Pacification. They don't always manage to remove it, but its nice when they do.
On PS4, the extra Hotbar setting is your friend. If you go into the settings, you can select another Cross Hotbar to be displayed in two halves when you press L2 then R2 together, and vice versa. This is the best way I have found to fit all of my skills onto one hotbar, with the second Hotbar used for buffs and the like which aren't used as often.
How do you guys have your hotbars setup?
I would highly, highly recommend against using the majority of what Wintersandman uses. No offense, Winter, but there is a ton of waste in those macros. You're blowing stacks of wrath and CDs for no reason at all at times in that setup. Bloodbath, Conv after a bunch of other stuff? And how do you work ToB into that? Why would you ever want SC going off if you have a full stack and try to OP? Nor would you want to waste Unchained every time it's available and you just want an IB. And Provoke is waaaay to important to have tied to HG. If you're trying to keep trading hate with another tank and HG goes off that's a near definite wipe in anything needing aggro trading.
I have two hotbars personally that I switch between by hitting R1 (PS4). My BB combo one, storm combo on the other. My CDs are divided between the two based on how they're used in conjunction.
