There is, it's SE managing limited system resources across a plethora of systems and wanting to ensure that the quality of the game is experienced the same (or as close as they can) across all systems.

I understand the frustration as a player who wants variety as well, however the high level of detail they bring into the game via their models does cause some limitations. Sadly, it will only get worse for older systems. Only time will tell really, and SE has a much better picture than the player base does. We tend to see only a very small portion of the picture and throw a fit when things aren't the way we want it, and SE has to manage the how small/large a picture they can put into a frame, and if it's too big where to trim/crop it.

not very, considering they have very different battle stances, and you know, one doesn't have a giant glowing pet following them.

    Context man.

24 man PvP environment, it won't be 'as easy'.

Sure to the trained eye it's not 'very difficult', but I can imagine it a 24-man setting, a lot more class-clarity wouldn't hurt.

Besides, my point (contextually) was it's more important in PvP than PvE, not that it's essential or necessary.

Also pets die & move. In the heat of battle it's not as simple as you describe (for many).

and my point was if they can put that much effort into gear that very few will even get, why cant they do the same for gear that a large majority of people will, namely tome gear.

    I spoke to that, incentivization.

Also reward. The people who put in the hard work & the effort, slaving away deserve uniqueness moreso in my opinion.

The entirety of the general populace has easy access to Tome gear, so a generalized set is more suitable.

Additionally, helps if you spell out your point a bit better to begin with... that literally didn't come out whatsoever in your original post.

WORD AND THAT'S UPSETTING because I doubt I'll ever be a high enough rank to use any of it!!!!!!!!!!! They need more unique gear models whether it makes the loot tables bigger or not!!!!

p.s. why does mnk/drg/brd i90 allagan look the same with some recolors? dafuq?

So PvP gear which is buried inside a system which most people don't even want to have anything to do with (Or at least, until they get their vanity gear) deserves more attention than actual end-game content gear in terms of design? Please. I'll agree that it's there for an incentive but it's more of a "Guys please play PvP, please." than anything else.

No, it's the reward for those who choose to put in the time PvP'ing.

Sorry you dislike PvP, but it's your choice to avoid it & therefore not reap its rewards.

Niche systems should be rewarded far greater than the mainstream ones, it just makes sense like that.

Why do players deserve awesome, unique armors who simply beat some 4-mans once a week?

Or how about the ones who by the blood & sweat of their brow grind away endless hours in the arena, don't they deserve it more?
