As a tank I was personally very annoyed with full clears. I just wanted to finish and get my daily roulette done. I always told people I had to leave soon and didn't have time for full clear. Some people say my queue is fast and I don't understand, which yes is true but I didn't join for full clear only to finish as fast as I can which they don't understand.

It's an unfortunate disconnect with people who are using the system to level up. Still, I think that in the OP's case the person in question did the right thing with just leaving the group. I don't feel like anyone should be forced to be a part of a group they don't fit with, and the current penalty is enough of a "punishment".

The only problem is with the option to select "in-progress runs". Personally I think that was a super-terrible idea to allow people that option. We had a healer DC in Haukke manor the other day and while the BLM that we had was nothing short of absolutely freaking EPIC (we basically 3-man'd the entire dungeon with her healing and cleared it in under 30 minutes) - it wasn't her job and we would have had to abandon the dungeon if the other DPS had been a monk or whatever.

You are only there for your own interest, only for your myth and.. mayhap soldiery, if not capped already.

But let's blame SE instead for making the dungeons that way, instead of giving rewards once everything is discovered, opened, and all mobs killed.

Time for them to re-think the purpose, in which no one follows anyway.

*Completing a dungeon, killing everything that will take 60 mins, with 30 mins left on the timer? Ain't nobody got time for that..
