I am bard lvl 73, am I realistically ready for binding coil?

Agree with what others have said. You can farm T1 and T2 for some allagan gear that should boost you up . T3 has no gear
I believe T1 is were i got allagan gloves for my Bard if i recall

Problem with BRD Allagan gear is that it has zero accuracy on the majority of the pieces. So if someone gears up from coil as BRD. with no myth to augment accuracy they wouldnt be able to hit the side of a barn in t4+.

Not to mention ill get harder to hit things in t1-t3 as replace DL gear (with acc) with allagan.

coil 1-4 DF ilv requirements are way too high, specially with echo. turn 1 was easily done at release with everyone in the party at or below the current ilv number and there was no echo. same for t2, t4 needed a little more, but not near what it is at.

I just leveled WHM, and healed t1,2,4 many times at ilv65 without any issues due to the echo (often was lower when i forgot to take my ilv100 and ilv90 acc from WAR/BRD/MNK off once entered). basically, if you have the acc to hit, and ilv70+ your more then good enough for t1,2. t4 may need a little more, and 82 is likely spot on for t5, but those who think you need the ilv they set are far from correct, even if the hole part too off echo its too high for a real chalenge.

no worries Sapphic Meow, i have been doing T1-2 for gear and never got anything yet.
Also the weathered gear (chest) i lost about 28 acc from when i just had the Myth Bard Shirt.
I would think bis would be a mix of weathered and allagan with possibly still myth gear.

Top tier players cleared it under this circumstances != easily done by everyone. At 2.1 release even only a little minority of the players did a step into coil as stated by Yoshi times ago. So don't set the top-tier minority equal to the players who first go into coil now.
