The enmity discussion was brought up by you Chocobits, of course people are going to comment on it. There's a hate meter and enmity algorithm changes coming and that's all I'll say on enmity. There's a difference between elitism and playing well, if I play well and don't die I don't think I'm better than anyone I simply think I'm doing what's expected of me.

Of course it needs a sufficiently long recast timer and a huge MP cost, if not it needs to be restricted at least to only once per battle. Seems insignificant in smaller battles but with those aren't going to trouble you much anyway. It's the bosses and large encounters I'm concerned with, those battles that can last up to the 30 minute mark. Those who have done the R46 story quest, can you imagine how much easier it would be with Reraise? I mean not to say it was that hard once you figured it out but that would take any guesswork or timing out of it lol.

Again I'm not against its implementation, I just find it hilarious that people are mostly only accepting it because it's an FF tradition. Had this never come up before people would scoff at the idea of a spell that brings the user back to life if they die.
