    Your Best Experience on MMORPGs

What was your best Experience on MMORPGs and you want it on FFXIV?

    My example:

War of Emperium from Ragnarok online is the best event EVER. I like Guild vs Guild, strategy, etc. Something like that could be incredible for FFXIV but seems near imposible ^^!

My best memory was when I got a joyouse on FFXI, when I was getting ToD on Charybdis, there was a rdm and whm trying to duo and I was literally begging my LS and friends to help, finally some friends came and we raped it, my luckiest day on FFXI lol

Joyeuse was a good one for me, as well; it was a thank you present from an amazingly talented THF and his girlfriend for an earlier favor. Taught me not everything in XI was selfishness and elitism for once.

My top favorite memory, however, is the Alexander fight at the end of ToAU. I went twice in two days. The first time I got invited as misc. DPS (WAR) by a party who already had 5 members of a notoriously arrogant elite shell who basically treated me like I was a moron they were handing a win to as a side effect of getting a member of their LS the crown.

After, when a friend and another player I ran a few of the missions with saw my crown and lamented never getting that win, I geared up my PLD, built them a party, and we ran the entire fight flawlessly from beginning to end. Walking out of the fight, two of the pick-ups actually thanked me for the win, one saying they'd been trying to beat that last part for over a year. Between the challenging fight, epic music, fulfilling win, and grateful friends, I'd say that moment tops my list.

Best Moments in a mmo was easy for me, getting to sea XI (the original stupid hard version of cop, w/o headbutt spam).

Nothing like 3 months of hardwork with my ls static all ending with us ending in sea.

Out of all the mmos I played, all the different storylines... not one even comes close to this one in terms of skill, teamwork, the story behind it, and the satisfaction of actually beating it.

There were too many good times in ffxi to pick one. I guess it would have to be the time i met Alerus, Yokiko, Yanara, Yukii in La Theine Plateau as a noob. That's when we started a great LS and a great many friendships. Clip the Apex was the most helpful LS on Remora for awhile. It was so much fun helping other noobs learn to enjoy ffxi and helping with missions while becoming veterans among friends... no... family. I don't see much of this in ffxiv but it could be the highly Japanese populated server that i'm stuck on.

    if anyone from Clip the Apex, Destro Secret, or Apex is reading, i miss you guys ;_;

Best: Beating CoP in FFXI (Pre-Nerf) with my static and setting off fireworks in front of the Marble Bridge while we collected our just rewards!

Worst: Trying to fight anything, buy anything, or travel anywhere in FFXIV.

While I loved beating CoP in FFXI, to be honest my best experience was just hanging out with my friends before endgame.

We would just run around and do stuff for no real reason other than to have fun.
"Wanna get our fame up today?" "Sure!"
"Wanna go kill some empties?" "Sure!"
"Hey! Let's ride a boat and try and see if pirates attack us! Maybe if we're lucky we will even see a whale!" "SURE!"
"Hey, why don't we try getting some ninja scrolls today?" "All right!"
"It's so-and-so's birthday! You get the fireworks, you get the cake, you get the food, and I'll set up the party at Rabao!" "We're on it!"
And then later that day having a crazy awesome party in Rabao with the LS.
    etc etc.

    /sigh
They weren't quite role-players, but they considered their in game life and friends to be just as important as their out of game life and friends. The game would have never hooked me if it weren't for them.

It was the most fun I had ever had not including real life.

And then endgame came and ruined all that fun.
Nothing like seeing your friends wanting some piece of armor so badly they literally torment themselves with evil LS leaders, annoying endgame events, and never have time to do anything fun because "I have an event today!" It was very distressing to see the toll endgame had taken on them, particularly the torment part.

In the defense of my friend Kyyra, she did go on to become the most badass dragoon in history.
