What kind of Secrets would you like implemented someday?

I was soloing in the Crawler's nest one day and while trying to pull a crawler away to a safe spot I discovered a hidden room with a strange apparatus inside.

I was really excited to have discovered something on my own and later found out that there were several more like it. No one knew exactly what they did or what exactly they were for but it was a secret I discovered for myself and I was excited!

As far as we know there are no secrets or unsolved mysteries in XIV but what secret or what kind of secret would you like to see?

Something that isn't even hinted at in letters or updates. Something that one person discovers one day while adventuring and reveals to the rest of Eorzea to which every person flocks to see for themselves. The mystery of this thing would bring many to try to solve it's secrets or how to unlock it in some way.

Perhaps in a secret room at a difficult location there lies a glowing sword ala Sword in the Stone and many come to try and free it and fail. Perhaps someone from Garlean frees it and threatens to destroy us all and of course we rally to defeat him.

I went off track, post your ideas and maybe we'll see something implemented someday that none of us expected!

There are actually several interesting places and locations off the beaten path if you spend time looking for them.

Of course to echo a previous post, they wouldn't be secrets if we told you, now would they?

Fine fine . I would like to see rare-obtained items that start long and grueling quests. like a 'Rusty ring' quest.

I want a sheep that is secretly an Imp, oh wait! lol no but some random and half thought out ideas that I'd rather enjoy;

-sandworm in desert that swallows you if you run too fast over a certain area with a chocobo that is off the main road. could take you to some underground cave zone or crazy boss fight
-areas and barriers that only open up during certain times of the day/month/year
-unique enemies that only come out at night and when its raining (dunno why I was so specific with that, anything similiar will do!)
-entrances to some caves are actually much steeper than they appear! and end up being one way trips
-I want do accidentally drop my weapon once in a while if I am spamming way too many abilities during a long fight. not really a secret but I think it'd be funny and random
-after killing like one-hundred of the same mob in one sitting, a super powered version of one will pop to teach you a lesson
-if you take on a very specific set of leves in one reset you will be approached by an npc when they are all cleared and given a secret bonus leve
-(this one is kind of from XI) falling/sliding down a slipper icy cliff a certain way gives you access to different areas of the mountain and battlegrounds inside them

uhh I guess I could keep going but I think that is enough for now lol but yes; secret=good
